Lawrence Kansas Police Department Receives Firehouse Subs Grant for Recon Police Bikes

Our bike patrol is now using these two new fully outfitted Recon Interceptor Power Bikes. They can run fully electric or in several pedal-assist modes, and have wide tires to travel trails or even in buildings, if needed. Side lights can light up an entire scene and, of course, they have blue and red lights and sirens for traffic stops.

Folks at the local Firehouse Subs Broadway Village invited us to come celebrate the grant – worth more than $9,785 – awarded to us by Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation. Thank you for your dedication to first responders and safe communities!
